No. The school’s technology director would not be responsible for managing Grad Bridgeway’s display models.Their role would generally be limited to helping Grad Bridgeway connect the displays to the school’s approved Wi-Fi network and confirming that the setup meets school technology and security requirements. Grad Bridgeway would manage the displays, content platform, scheduling, updates, monitoring, and technical support.A school may also designate a staff contact to coordinate display locations and report any issues, but Grad Bridgeway remains responsible for operating and maintaining the system.
A school’s Wi-Fi network should not be noticeably slowed by the displays when the system is configured correctly. Grad Bridgeway content is downloaded and stored locally on each display’s media player, so the displays are not continuously streaming high-bandwidth video throughout the school day.The internet connection is used mainly to download new content, receive scheduling updates, and report system status. Grad Bridgeway can coordinate with the school’s technology director to schedule larger updates during lower-traffic periods and ensure the displays meet the school’s network and security requirements.
